Early Childhood Education

From 1 to 6 years old. Nido to Early 3

OBJECTIVES IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Our educational program at this stage, based on scientific discoveries, takes advantage of the importance of the first six years of life for brain development. We focus on synaptogenesis, high plasticity, and hemispheric interconnectedness, fostering experiences that strengthen cognitive, motor, social, and emotional skills. Additionally, we integrate multiple intelligences, intrinsic motivation, and creativity for balanced learning.

At this stage, we incorporate early immersion in English as a first language and Spanish as a second, with a ratio of seven students to one teacher, ensuring personalized attention and enhancing individual strengths. We combine the Montessori methodology, based on exploration and autonomy, with a progressive approach to projects and problem-solving. We also promote positive habits through healthy routines and an organic diet. We eliminate screen time to safeguard attention and social development.

ASPECTOS MÁS DESTACABLES
EN EDUCACIÓN INFANTIL:

METHODOLOGY

In this first stage, we use active methodologies such as Montessori, Project-Based Learning, and Problem-Based Learning, which create a dynamic and practical environment based on exploration and manipulative learning. Through projects that cover diverse areas, children solve real-life problems, developing analytical, creative, and collaborative skills. Our 7-student-to-teacher ratio ensures personalized attention, adapting to the pace and needs of each child. This approach allows each student to explore and grow autonomously, guided and supported by our teaching team, promoting meaningful learning and preparing children for future challenges with confidence and resilience.

SUBJECTS

We encourage free experimentation to enhance both fine and gross motor skills, gradually introducing conceptual learning while teaching teamwork, public speaking, and creative problem-solving skills, allowing them to discover concepts for themselves, all in a 100% English-language environment.

We integrate music, free movement, and body expression activities, which are essential for neural development in children ages 1 to 6. Music activates areas related to language, memory, and creativity; free movement enhances saccadic movements, coordination, and motor planning; and body expression facilitates the connection between emotions and cognition, improving communication and learning. These science-backed approaches create a stimulating environment that strengthens the neural connections essential for each child's comprehensive development.

DAY

The day at this stage is structured so that all projects and activities are carried out at school under the guidance of our teachers, who have the training and experience necessary to create an optimal learning environment. In this way, children work and explore in class, receiving the support and professional guidance they need at all times. Outside of the classroom, it is essential that they dedicate their time to cultivating their own interests, enhancing their creativity, and enjoying family life, without the demands of homework.

TECHNOLOGY
